At the end of June 2014, Rejuve, a premium and innovative juicery opened the second outlet which is located in Mall Kota Kasablanka. Re.Juve itself is a part (the first retail business) of Gunung Sewu Group.

Knowing the importance and the undying trend of F&B industry in Indonesia, Rejuve positioned itself in a market of healthy living. With uncountable restaurants focusing themselves in food and even selling ambiance, Rejuve shows up strong with its primary focus in creating the best nutritious juices. As we know it, drinks are very important for people and moreover, juices are considered the best option for having a balance good life.

In case you haven’t noticed the trend of cold-pressed juice, cold-pressed juice has become a widely popular method of juicing. Cold-pressed juice is a method which uses the hydraulic press and applies a huge amount of pressure to extract the nectar directly from the pulps. This method is a very different to the conventional juicing method, which is by blending it using a blender. A blender requires fast rotation and with fast rotating blades, it produces heat which is considered as a ‘harmful’ way of juicing. With the heat and the speed, it crushes the vitamins, proteins and enzymes from the fruits and vegetables. By blending or grinding, it degrades the nutrients within the fruits and vegetables. Cold-pressed juice is said to be the best alternative to keep all the nutrients intact.

Anyway, the above pictures are the pictures of the outlet in Mall Kota Kasablanka. It is located on the Ground Floor, Food Society. The place is quite spacious, neat and pretty comfortable for patrons to come and enjoy the high-quality juices. I loved the seating area inside, which is fairly-lit, making the place looks comfortable and more private.

Rejuve doesn’t just offer cold-pressed juices, but also infused water, smoothies and some light food.

I personally think that Rejuve is very bold and innovative with great purpose. The thought of providing people with healthy drinks seems to be quite unique and brave. The idea of healthy stuff tends to be rejected by society because the word “healthy” doesn’t go well together with “delicious”. But time to change and admit the fact that “healthy” food and drinks, can be “delicious” as well! With the juices I tried at Rejuve, I am fairly convinced that healthy and enjoyable living seems to be very plausible.

After stepping inside, we got the chance to try some stuffs from Rejuve. Let’s check it out!

# Asian Green (R= IDR 36 k; L= IDR 43 k) 

Consisting of Spinach, Pineapple and Cucumber, the greenies seemed to work very well. Seriously, the whole drink was very good, very appetising in a way, I would want to have more everyday. The healthy spinach wasn’t scary at all, and the refreshing cucumber and pungent pineapple, made the Asian Green very loveable. I especially noticed the clean texture, almost without any pulps, making the liquid very smooth and good. The sweetness in the Asian Green was just right! I should tell you that Rejuve doesn’t use sugar at all. The sweetness just comes naturally from the fruits!

# Chocolate High (R= IDR 38 k; L= IDR 45 k)

For those who love a fulfilling drink, this will be the best option. It contains oatmeal, low-fat peanut butter, chocolate protein, non-fat milk and high-quality banana (from Sunpride! FYI, Sunpride is also a part of Gunung Sewu Group)! Imagine all the ingredients blended together! Well, I should revise my words, don’t imagine (cause it sounds scary actually). Just imagine this: the perfect smooth blended banana and rich chocolate, and occasionally, you will feel the raw crispy-ish oatmeal texture, and the lovely and scrumptious peanut butter. Hm.. Love!

Besides healthy drinks, they also serve some light food for a change. The food will most likely be healthy as well. Let’s see what I tried that day.

# Chicken Pesto Sandwich (IDR 38 k)

The sandwich was quite okay actually. Not the best sandwich IMHO, but it wasn’t that bad either. The thing is, it lacked of taste. The pesto sauce was pretty light, and it was spreader on the chicken. The chicken itself was not very tender and it almost tasted bland. Since the pesto itself lacked of kick, the whole sandwich turned into a boring sandwich. But as a healthier option, it might suit you. 🙂

I didn’t try the drink below. But it was said to be pretty good.

Another choices of light meal are Dark Chocolate Raisin Scone and Banana Whole Meal Oatmeal Chocochips which was priced for about IDR 28 k each.

Again, the sweet treats below are healthy and tasted pretty awesome. Just for an input, both of these would be better if the texture are made smoother and softer.

As another option, you can choose the beverages in “Hydrating Elixirs” section, which are very refreshing, 100% freshly made and rich in electrolytes and beneficial minerals. One that I tried is Turmeric High which is made of turmeric, lemon, pineapple and organic coconut palm sugar. The taste? Very unique and it’s in a good way! I never like turmeric, but I loved this drink!

All the drinks from the “Hydrating Elixirs” section are priced fairly reasonable! Regular size comes with IDR 30 k and the Large size comes with IDR 36 k.

We actually got the chance to try the cold-pressed juicer first hand! The girls were all ready and here are some of the famous female foodbloggers!

Oh, I should emphasize that the cold-pressed juices are very pure and amazingly full of intact nutrients. The juices are freshly made and do not contain additional water, sugar or preservatives! All safe and purely healthy.

Rejuve currently has two outlets. One in Gandaria City, and the other one is Mall Kota Kasablanka (the one I visited). More outlets are coming!

I think foodventurers should visit Rejuve and see what I meant. After all, you must have enjoyed a lot of delicious sinful fatty full-of-calorie oily food out there, a lot! A healthier option is a must for you. 😉
