PIK Avenue is a new mall in PIK, and perhaps most of you have seen this mall a couple of time when venturing the area. I visited it just yesterday and apparently, not many tenants have opened inside for the moment. A few famous brands are already open and that includes Shihlin, Taiwan Street Snacks.
It’s really a good news, especially for those who really fancy street food, especially Shihlin. I totally knew that my sister would be so happy about the opening, after all she is a loyal fan of Shihlin.
To be honest, I am never a big fan of Shihlin and I won’t go crazy seeing Shihlin in every mall I visit. My sister is, on the contrary. lol. It’s very normal, because when it comes to taste, everything is about preferences.
The thing is, I changed my mind now that Shihlin has launched a new flavour. And it’s ‘Mie Goreng‘ flavour! Crazy right? I meant, the sound of it has made me drool, and who doesn’t love ‘Ind*mie Goreng’?
I’m betting that Shihlin had made extensive research, and eventually found the right flavour. The intense spicy typical ind*mie flavour was spot on, followed with a sweet aftertaste, almost like a taste of the fragrant soy sauce. I did try the one that was specially requested with no chili seasoning. The result was even better! The ind*mie flavour was even more vivid and sharp. Imagine it with some steaming hot rice and some scrambled egg or sunny side up! Yum!
Gosh, anyway, Shihlin has launched this ‘Mie Goreng‘ flavour everywhere except for the Shihlin in PIK Avenue. The Shihlin in PIK Avenue will start selling this ‘Mie Goreng‘ flavour on 17 October 2016.
