Send My Love (To The New Menu): Street Food by Shirayuki

My last post about Shirayuki has been quite a long time. As one of my favourite dessert house, I never really have much time to visit Shirayuki as often as it should be. But I eventually visited this place again just a few days ago. Apparently, they have added new menu, for street food lovers, which is indomie! Yes, they join the trend and make their own style of indomie. Shirayuki has always been aware of the culinary scene, knowing that indomie has once again risen to its peak popularity.

The great thing is, Shirayuki doesn’t just hop on and join the trend ride, but they actually make the most of it! They utilized their skill, resources, and then presented the best of indomie variant.

For instance, the Indomie Kuah TomYam is definitely one of the bests I can find. Many decided to just make the soup more spicy and fragrant with minimal effort. But Shirayuki actually makes a bolder and daring version of tomyam, making sure that we get to taste the tomyam flavour. It’s spicy, it’s fragrant, and it has the extra kick coming from the spices.

Well, let’s see in detail about what I think about its indomie selections.

SHIRAYUKI PIK - Thai Tea

SHIRAYUKI PIK - Thai Tea
# Iced Thai Tea (IDR 21 k)
One of the best thai teas I ever had. The balance of the thai tea and milk was spot on and blended very well together. You just have to try this when you come to Shirayuki!

SHIRAYUKI PIK - Indomie Goreng Chili Crab
# Indomie Goreng Saus Chili Crab (IDR 19 k)
Fried indomie is always tasty and a quick satisfying meal. Upgrade it with delish and spicy chili crab, it turns to be quite mind-blowing. The appearance might look really simple, but it tasted complicatedly good! Yummeh!

SHIRAYUKI PIK - Indomie Kuah Creamy Saus Telur Asin

# Indomie Kuah Creamy Telur Asin (IDR 19 k) + Sausage
This is perfection! The key role is undoubtedly the salted egg sauce. I loved the generous salted egg sauce, flowing on top of the bouncy indomie. Mixing it to the soup made it very creamy and very savoury. I had some other so-called Indomie salted egg sauce some other places, but when it was served, the salted egg was barely there. Here, add some more toppings like sausage, I’ll be perfectly happy.

# Indomie Kuah Tomyam (IDR 16 k) + Tiger Prawn
Like I said initially on this post, the taste is very similar to the original Tomyam, it’s even bolder and spicier. I thoroughly loved this. And, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to add a sexy sweet Tiger Prawn!

SHIRAYUKI PIK - PIZZA Indomie

# Pizza Indomie Crispy Smores
This one was quite amusing. It’s actually a round crunchy indomie topped with chocolate and torched marshmallows. Amusing it was, but not really a favourite of mine.

HOKKAIDO BABY
# Hokkaido Baby – Cheese Tart (IDR 20 k)
Delicious crispy tarts with abundant cheese! Oh, it’s really good! Check here for its own review here.

All in all, the indomie selections are pretty much extraordinary. I really appreciate their true effort making a distinguished taste out of mere indomie. Their effort is pretty much a success for me. To be honest, even better than some Indomie-specialised eateries.

Oh, for another GREAT news that I’m sure you want to hear is that Shirayuki offers IDR 1000 promotion for every indomie selection and every topping. IT’S MORE OR LESS THE BEST DEAL YOU CAN EVER GET! For a clearer explanation, do ask the waiters when you are there! 😉
