Christmas-Themed Desserts by Shirokuma.

Happy New Year 2016! My first post of the year would be a late post actually, with the theme of Christmas. I know it’s late, but I couldn’t help posting it anyway since the creation of ice cream by Shirokuma is always amusing.

To be honest, for me, 2015’s Christmas wasn’t very festive. Well, but some restaurants and cafes made it up at the very least by presenting Christmas-themed cuties. Shirokuma was definitely one at the front line, presenting not 1, but 5 creations! Let’s just hop to the point, yes?

# Save our Snowman (IDR 49 k)

This cutesy was originally created last year (2014), an adorable result of a collaboration between Shirokuma and my dear friend, The Hungry Doctor! It actually tells the story of an unwell snowman, and The Hungry Doctor is there to save the day by injecting “a green medication” (we are talking matcha here!). With its popularity, Save our Snowman is back for 2015! <3

# Christmas Tree Parfait (IDR 41 k)

For this Christmas, Shirokuma held an internal competition to invent a new menu. From the competition, this new Christmas themed menu was born and now available for dessert-lovers! It’s actually a fruity parfait with cotton candy a top! Judging from its appearance, no wonder it won the internal competition!

# Christmas Dessert Plate (IDR 45 k)

This dessert is one to look out. This specific dessert is consisting of Shirokuma’s top-selling milk pudding, green tea soft serve that looks like a Christmas tree and a mini santa from the strawberry land! 😉 This total cutesy is not just lovely in look, but tasty in taste as well!

# Christmas Panda Cone (IDR 23 k)

Originally created for the previous Valentine’s Day in 2015 (named Delicutesh – a mix invention inspired by my friends, The Delicacies Journal and Eshtravaganza), the cute Panda Cone was back for good, but for Christmas! With its low price and super cute panda look, what’s not to love?

# Galaxy Snowman (IDR 45 k)

Another creation from the internal competition! But this time, it’s actually a hybrid of two dessert creations by the participants. The result is pretty awesome. The soft sweet cotton candy surrounds the snowman on top of crunchy waffle basket. Say what? Yum!

Though Christmas has passed and even a whole brand new year is here now, I’m pretty sure Shirokuma is up for something else. Even without the seasonal creations, Shirokuma has established a reputation for itself. Oh, the sea salt Ice Cream is worth trying though! Have you tried it yet?
