Welcome to the cyber world of foodventurer.
My name is Prawnche or some friends of mine might know me as Cole.
In case you’re wondering about FoodVenturer.me, I shall explain that it is a blog where I freely and independently share about my life adventures revolving around F&B, restaurants, traveling and occasionally random stuff.
Because of my passion in both writing and venturing, I decided to create this blog in 2011. From the get go, I’ve committed myself for this blog, which will be a casual sharing blog and I promised myself to put everything on the blog with my honest direct point of view, with some jokes in between to lighten the mood. (Tho’ I often make a very not-so-funny joke, and I realize that. So forgive, will ya?) And I should warn you in advance, that regarding my point of view towards things, it might turn out to be unusual in every possible sense to some people but then again, it’s the true me.
Most often, reviews about eateries such as restaurants, cafes and street food will come up and with my reviews, I really wish that I could help foodventurers out there in knowing about my experience of that certin restaurant/cafe in advance.
Not even in a slight chance, I would badmouth or discredit any eateries I reviewed. All positive and negative comments should be perceived as a constructive input in hope to help the eateries to improve and move forward to the standard of excellence.
Please also understand, that every person has different preferences when it comes to food (in fact, it might be in everything). My ah-mazing might not be your ah-mazing and vice versa. Thus, when I say that the food is delicious, I actually mean that the food is delicious FOR ME and it suits my preference. 🙂
FAQ!
1. What is your name? OR Is Prawnche really your name?
A: Yep, people. It’s my real name, a birth name legally stated on my birth certificate.
2. Why is your name Prawnche? Why???
A: Long story short, my dad gave me that name, and yes it had something to do with fresh-water prawn farming. Let’s leave the full story when we get to meet face to face, okay? 😉
3. So, what is it with Cole?
A: Cole is a nickname I adopted when I first dived in cyber-world and yes, I’m not proud of myself for this tho’. But anyway, call me Cole and I will answer too.
4. What service do you provide?
A: I publicly provide recommendations for places-to-eat via blog or instagram and I write about food and places I visit/travel to.
Aside from that, professionally, I provide food photography service and photos as a content creator. Soon, I will be up for social media handling, and I will be sure to inform you when that happen.
5. Are you alone in this lonely and cold website of yours?
A: Glad to say, No. FoodVenturer.me is mostly handled by me, especially for the blog posts, but I have my sister @shelyche as eating-partner (some of the pictures here are hers) and my partner, Reza Kurniadi, that handles this website programming.
