A few weeks ago on the Easter day, I got to be back here and enjoyed a full range of delicious cuisines and even better, their Easter dessert creations were available free flow for us to take. Imagine cute bunny-shaped cakes all over the table.

So, let me tell you the experience I had at Collage All Day Dining.
It was simply amazing and even more, it came with excellent hospitality.
Since it was in the mood of celebrating Easter, Collage presented both the thematic Indonesian Food Festival x Easter fun in the mix. What we got is actually a seriously good Indonesian cuisine, from Braised Beef Balinese Style, Calamari in Salt n Pepper, Grilled Chicken with Spicy Sauce, Indonesian-styled Vegetables and assortment of Indonesian chilies. When it comes to Indonesian food, satay is up on the top list. We did enjoy both lamb and chicken satays here too.
Not only these Indonesian cuisines, there were other sections of buffet too.
One of the popular sections was the Indian & Middle-Eastern section that served samosa, aloo cheese tikki, tandoori chicken and kebab, with a lot of others.
The Western Section was popular too, as guests were seen crawling around the live-cooking pasta area. Guests could choose their desired pasta (farfaley, fettuccine, fusilli, penne, spaghetti) and its sauce (carbonara, aglio olio, bolognese, tomato). There were also pizza, zupa soup and brunch menus such as egg benedict and mini burger.
As a bonus, there were also delectable choices at another side of the corner by the wall. There were Chicken Stuffed with Feta Cheese and Bacon, Pan-Seared Salmon with Balsamic and Maltaise sauce, Gnocchi in Napolitano sauce, and Beef Zurich & Buttered Fettuccine. The salmon was hands-down my favourite! <3
Asian section included a small stall for Dimsum selections, and Noodle bar. There were also roasted chicken, duck, and chicken char siu.
My personal favourite section is the Japanese! Yas! I did have a lot of sushi and salmon sashimi all for myself. The salmon sashimi was surprisingly as fresh as one could possibly get. Also in this section, there were plenty of canapés, fresh Seafood, Indonesian appetizers, salads, cheese and beautiful pastries.
In a small easily-missed corner, there was a Signature Shabu-Shabu set. I would love to try this but my tummy was so full already.
Hiding far-far away in the same section with the Western kitchen are 3 ultimate pleasures for my appetite.
First, Roasted Turkey, which was super moist and tender.
Second, Slow-Cooking Temperature 24 Hours Wagyu Beef Rump, which was easily my most favourite of the day. Texture-wise, it was effortlessly tender. Guests could request it to be seared for desired doneness.
Third, Roasted Gammon Ham Leg with Honey Pineapple Glaze. I expected a tough chewy meat at the first glance. But it was proved the total opposite. I just had to shut my expectation out and enjoy the whole slices of this Gammon Ham. The Honey Pineapple Glaze was divine.
To close the post, the range of desserts in Collage was crazy lot. There were doughnuts, Indonesian traditional cakes, Easter cakes, pastry, pancake/waffle section, and freakin’ Ice Cream machine!
I truly had a wonderful experience here. There were much improvement with Collage, both from the quality of the food and the hospitality. Eventually, I complimented them on the improvement and it was revealed to me that they had a change of F&B director. No wonder! Kudos for the F&B director, the assistant Director and the whole team that made this happened. Just keep up the wonderful job!\
