My visit to Shirayuki for their street food theme led me to have my first encounter with Hokkaido Baby. Hokkaido Baby isn’t exactly a newbie, but I just happened to be quite out-of-date, so here’s a brief review.
What is Hokkaido Baby?
Hokkaido Baby is a cheese tart specialist. It’s coming from Hokkaido, both the recipe and most of the ingredients and that’s to ensure the quality of its ‘baby’.
How much do they sell the cheese tarts?
For each, the price is IDR 20 k. But if you purchase 6 pieces of cheese tarts, it will cost you cheaper with only IDR 110 k for 6 pieces.
Why is it quite expensive?
The opinion is from me. The price is quite high at first glance, but frankly, the cheese tart is really good. The cheese used is from Japan and Italy, plus it is generously used. Everything in the cheese tart comes from the very best. So, for a taste and quality like that, IDR 20 k is quite a fair price.
Where can I get this?
You can find these lovelies at Shirayuki’s outlets (PIK and Mall Taman Anggrek). If you’re a Southern Jakartan, you can get it at Pondok Indah Mall 1, Second Floor. They have their own store there.
Can I order it in big quantity?
Yes, yes you can. You can reach them via Line @hokkaidobaby or Whatsapp +62878-8867-7868
