A while ago, Publik Markette was its monthly promotion and it involved some Italian goodness. Too bad it ends a few days ago, but I still feel the need to write this down as the cuisine was truly awesome. Not that I ever doubt that from Publik Markette.

As my most favourite establishment from Ismaya, Publik Markette never ceases to amaze me. This time around, their Italian cuisine was an instant attraction. During my visit, the station was filled with many delicacies, especially the Porchetta which I had been eyeing from the first time I entered this place.

Since I’d tried so many dishes, let’s just hop to the pictures as below.

# Crispy Porchetta with Peperonata & Salsa Verde (IDR 125 k)

A total love at first sight, this fat heaven (that sounds wrong!) was pure indulgence! As sinful as it looks, this porches simply captured the right essence of culinary goodness. The thick layer of meat, fat and crispy outer layer were rightly placed and rightly cooked, thus the taste was heavenly! The peperonata & salsa verde were the right companies for the pork goodness. I could actually had two portion of this, have I not been afraid of cholesterol!

# Beef Meatloaf (IDR 135 k)

Might not look like it, but this meatloaf was delish. The soft grounded texture was sufficiently nice, and the taste was yum. Not the best of the day, but good enough!

# Chicken Parmigiana (IDR 85 k)

Apart from the pork and beef delicacies, the chicken was not losing its charm. The classic Chicken Parmigiana was delicious as well. The tender breaded chicken fillet, touched with tomato and melted cheese! This is my most favourite along with the Porchetta!

# Linguini with Farmer’s Sausage (IDR 115 k)

When it comes to Italian cuisine, pasta will always be the first food to pop out in my head. So, missing pasta in an Italian thematic feast will mean missing the main star. Plus, its identical shape and texture with noodles, makes me crave for it whenever I see Italian restaurants.
Publik Markette makes their pasta from the scratch a.k.a homemade. As a result, the linguini was real good with perfect al dente texture. The rich creamy sauce and sausage were spot on and complemented the linguini well! What a joy in the mouth.

# White Fish Puttanesca with Rosemary Potatoes (IDR 95 k)

The fish dish wasn’t disappointing as well. The fish was crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside.

# Pizza Pollo (IDR 79 k)

As photogenic as it is, the pizza was delectable! The dough was done right and the toppings were generous. The main element, the cheese, was bold and I loved every bite I could get in a slice of it. Wait, I had three slices actually!

# Italian Tea Party (IDR 155 k)

Since I don’t drink, I was all quiet with this festive drink. It might taste good though for those who love a touch of alcohol. After all, Publik Markette has a good reputation in their cocktails!

The whole dishes were honestly, really good. And if I have to play favourite, amongst all, my most favourite is the Crispy Porchetta and Chicken Parmigiana. Meanwhile, my least favourite goes to Beef Meatloaf.

Though the Italian promotion has ended, the awe I felt does remain. Oh, they also keep the Italian pizza as regular menu now, simply because people loved it so much. So, disappointed not, go there and have some pizza to cast away the stress!
