Just a few weeks ago, Publik Markette introduced their new fun offer to the public, bringing out an exciting range of sunday brunch menu selections! To be honest, it’s a wonderful idea since the sunday brunch ritual has somehow been a kind of tradition too for us!
With its good impression ever since my first visit to Publik Markette a while ago, I was pretty sure about how good their brunch menu selections would turn out. Oh, I was not wrong.
Let’s see some of the new menu selections which I tried and you can guest which ones are my favourite!
# Southeast Asian Benedict (IDR 125 k)
With soft shell crab and homemade sweet chili sauce, this menu was pretty much a joy in the mouth. The crispy soft shell crab was crunchy to its outer layer, and the savoury poached eggs were exploding its creamy yolks down the whole dish.
# Summer Super Bowl (IDR 65 k)
This bowl of summer originally consists of mixed granola with berries compote, chia seeds, nuts, honey yogurt and milk. However, you can request to add wine poached pear with only IDR 10 k. Taste-wise? Let me simplify it by saying that it tasted like a summer parade with colour splasing glitter! As simple as it looks, it’s gold! A healthy gold! ❤️
I’m now hooked to this sort of bowl!
# Frittafle (IDR 65 k) with poached eggs, bacon, cheddar and slap yo’ mama sauce
# Santa Fe Frittata (IDR 75 k)
This is definitely an egg porn! With chorizo and herb creme fraiche, the frittata was pretty good. There were some over-salted parts, but aside from that, the frittata was delish.
# Yucatan Rice Bowl (IDR 90 k) with egg, avocado, corn, and tortilla
# The Havana (IDR 125 k)
A real cubano sandwich, with a choice of chicken or pork, served with ham, cheddar cheese, pickles and spicy fries.
# Lord of Bacon (135k)
Who loves bacon? Here, this challenging burger consists of ham, bacon pork belly, spam and arnold sauce with fried egg. This is the ultimate pork-lovers paradise!
# Bahn Mi
The popular Vietnamese sandwich is here too! With French baguette, pate, jalapeno, mayonnaise and Vietnamese ingredients from cilantro, cucumber to pickled carrots, this banh mi was a refreshing change from all those big flavours from previous dishes. It was tasty with its fragrant and fresh ingredients.
# Reuben Pastrami Sandwich
This Reuben Pastrami Sandwich was a surprise for me. It came out of nowhere and taste-wise, it was kicking some real ass with its boldness.
# Monkey Business (IDR 55k)
Let’s have some monkey business! Consisting of chocolate, banana and cheese waffle with peanut butter ice cream, this closing dish was pretty good, especially when I’m an avid fan of chocolate, banana and cheese. Oh, don’t even mention peanut butter!
# Cinnamon Swirl French Toast (IDR 65k)
With peanut butter ice cream and mint butter, the limp-looking french toast was surprisingly gorgeous. It was boldly fragrant with a sensual cinnamon hint. It was a perfect dessert of the day!
See all those joyous dishes? Yes, they were all basically food at its finest, and the choices are yours to make because some people will have their own significant preference. Do make sure to visit Publik Markette for a wonderful merry brunch! 😉
